The Send Off
During the construction phase, our team is recording your ‘as-built’ records. These provide you all of the information you may need for your new building including any post-design changes that were made as well as the location of critical systems such as electrical boxes, plumbing mains, etc.
We also deliver your close-out package at this time. This will include all of your warranties, shop drawings, owner’s manuals, and any other additionally requested information. We’ll also provide your project financial closeout and reconciliation documents if applicable along with all inspection certificates and lien waivers if applicable.
Settling In
Now that the tedious stuff is out of the way, it’s time to get to know your new building. We’ll schedule any training required for you concerning site-specific hardware or functionality that’s important to know.
This will also start your warranty period. At Target Builders, we stand behind our work. Sometimes, things happen, but rest assured that we’ll handle any warranty claims as quickly as possible.
Lastly, once you’ve had the building for 11 months, we’ll come in to do a free warranty inspection to address any issues before your one-year warranties start to expire. This includes all building functions and systems. Again, this is done at no charge — we want to do everything in our power to keep our clients satisfied.
